Meet Paul
Paul and farmers like him lobby with AFA to ask Congress to pass At-Risk Farmer legislation that would help farmers like him and you to transition from animal farming to using your land for sustainable plant farming or green energy production.
It could be solar farms, wind farms, mushrooms, mycelium (a fungus often used in building structures), organic vegetables, oats, hazelnut trees – there are so many ideas! If the legislation passes, then the program could change over your building, your equipment, test your soil, give training – anything to make sure you get a successful start in a new form of farming. If you are interested or want to know more, please contact us.
Everything AFA does is free. We’re not selling anything – we’re simply lobbying for change. And we invite you to lobby with us, just like Paul.
Lobby with AFA
If you are struggling or feeling stuck, we are working to get legislation passed that will transition struggling farmers off of animal agriculture and onto a sustainable and successful form of plant-based agriculture. Ready to get started?
Still Not Sure why plant-based proteins are the future? Well, for one thing, this market is lucrative and growing…
The plant-based protein market is booming
The global plant-based protein market size is projected to grow from USD 10.3 billion in 2020 to USD 14.5 billion by 2025, in terms of value, recording a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.1%

Plant-based proteins are also much more sustainable …
Plant-based proteins are essential for a green future
Plant-based diets reduce food emissions by up to 73 per cent, depending where you live. Freshwater withdrawals also fall by a quarter. Perhaps most staggeringly, we would require about 3 billion hectares (76%) less farmland. “This would take pressure off the world’s tropical forests and release land back to nature” says lead author Joseph Poore of Oxford University.
